Giveaway Rules for Ammunition

  1. Eligibility:

    • Entrants must be 18 years old to participate for rifle and shotgun ammunition and 21 years old for handgun ammunition, as required by federal law.
    • Entrants must be legal residents of the United States and must comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding the purchase, possession, and transportation of ammunition.
  2. State Restrictions:

    • This giveaway is not valid in states with restrictions on ammunition shipping or possession, including but not limited to:
      • California: Must be shipped to an FFL or approved ammunition vendor.
      • Connecticut: Requires a valid Ammunition Certificate or Permit to Carry Pistols and Revolvers.
      • Illinois: FOID card required; restrictions on certain counties (e.g., Cook County).
      • Massachusetts: Ammunition must be shipped to an FFL.
      • New Jersey: Proof of a valid Firearm Purchaser Identification Card required.
      • New York: Must be shipped to an FFL.
      • Washington, D.C.: Ammunition giveaways are prohibited.
    • Other states with local restrictions may apply.
  3. Verification:

    • Winners must provide proof of age and eligibility (e.g., government-issued ID, firearm permit, or required state credentials).
    • Failure to provide valid documentation within 72 hours will result in forfeiture of the prize.
  4. Shipping:

    • Ammunition will only be shipped to locations where it is legal to do so and in compliance with the above restrictions.
    • All costs associated with required FFL transfers or compliance checks (if applicable) are the responsibility of the winner.
  5. General Conditions:

    • By entering, participants agree they are legally eligible to own and possess ammunition in their jurisdiction.
    • The organizer is not responsible for misuse of the prize or for ensuring compliance with local laws once the prize has been delivered.
  6. Disclaimer:

    • The organizer reserves the right to cancel or modify the giveaway if deemed necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Entrants are solely responsible for understanding the laws in their state.
